I am looking for information on the family line of Edward Jeffery/Jeffrey(I have seen it even spelled Jefferey)/ He was b. abt 1803(1860 census) and had these children whom were all born in England. I have word my Jeffrey's came to the US abt 1853 and were Cornish Miners, to the South West part of the State of Wisconsin, in the US. They lived and owrked in the Mines of Mineral Point, which is a sister city to Redruth I have been told and read in history there. Many Cornish Miner's immigrated there to work the Zinc and Lead mines. Edward apparently married a woman by the name of Johanna or Hannah abt 1830 or abt that time. Their first born was also called Edward b. abt 1833. Here is a small outline. If anyone recognizes these names Please contact me. The Trevarrow were from St Ives. my gg grandmother was Catherine Trevero or Treverrow, and was the daughter of Thomas Treverrow/Trevero of St ives and Mary Nankervis, who also emigrated to the US, abt the same time.
